The Aidi, also called Atlas Mountain Dog is a very old breed from Morocco. There they are guarding the herds with the Berber nomads, tribes living in the Atlas Mountains. The breed is in danger of extinction, so in France they have started a project in saving the breed in collaboration with the authorities in Morocco. |
